CARE enjoys cooperating with several local facilities, labs and providers. The following providers form our core clinical staff (brief bios are included below):

Cindy Schneider, MD - Medical Director

• Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and now in general practice
• Practice limited to individuals with autism spectrum disorders, attention deficit disorders, Tourette’s disorder, learning disabilities and developmental delays, Fragile X, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, multiple sclerosis, and autoimmune conditions.
• Active member of the Defeat Autism Now! Think Tank since 1997, a select group of physicians and researchers dedicated to advancing the treatment of autism and related conditions
• Founding president and past medical director of the Southwest Autism Research Center in Phoenix
• Served on the Research Committee of the MIND Institute at the University of California at Davis from 2001 to 2005
• Active member of the Institute for Functional Medicine
• Active member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine

Jamie Goguen-Joyner
Ms. Goguen-Joyner has 13 years of experience in applied behavioral analysis and is one of only two professionals in the state of Arizona certified in Relationship Development Intervention. She is also a certified Montessori teacher and is adept at applying aspects of each of these interventions into individualized treatment programs.

• Over 11 years experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders in both school, home, and clinic environments.
